Warded Private:
I don't know what I'm going to do! Fiona decided to go to Hogwarts, and Lydia's going with her! My girls are both leaving in a little over a week, and I can't handle this!!

I know she doesn't have one of these journals, but I know she sneaks peeks in mine and Edward's when she thinks we're not looking. A very happy birthday to Lydia Williamson.

[July 23] |

I don't think I really want to leave Italy. Well, except maybe to pick up the kids.

| 017. Warded to Those Over 18. |
[July 10] |
It's been so long since I've moved or helped anyone move that I'd almost forgotten what a chore it is! I packed this away so that I could make sure it didn't get in the way. I just pulled it out, which is probably the stupidest thing I've done in a good long while (RE: See James Wagner). Should probably just tuck it away in bag half-prepared for Italy trip next week. The library project is coming along nicely. New late and vandalism enchantments are being installed! It's exciting.
When did my summers involve more than keeping Fiona entertained! It seems like I don't have that to do any more now that Lydia's around!

I have a rather daft question, but do any of you have routines that you forgo on the nights you spend with a boyfriend? Have you ever had to slowly slip back into said routines because of some bigger event, like moving in together? And if so, how did you manage it? Without scaring him off, I mean

Mister Corner, your nephew has done it again. What is WRONG with that boy?

[June 02] |
Fiona's so excited about being out of school, and moving up to 1st Year. Me, on the other hand, I'm having a bit of a panic attack over it, to be honest. She's told me that she'd prefer to stay at RLA because she likes sleeping in her own bed, but I told her that I wanted her to really think about it. She's got until her birthday to decide, and that's in July. The whole thing just makes me misty-eyed.
Warded to Hermione Granger:
When would you like to discuss the upcoming library book enchantments? I have a holiday in July that I'd really like to take, so I wondered if I could put in a bit of extra time?
Warded to Edward Williamson:
I hope that I'm doing this right.
Do you (and the kids, of course) want to come over for dinner?

| 013. "Borrowing" People. |
[May 19] |
A few years ago, a town in Holland came up with an idea to lend people for one hour. The people who were lent were all sorts: homosexuals, addicts, asylum seekers, physically handicapped, etc. The premise of this idea was to encourage people to ask questions to help combat prejudice and break down barriers. You could basically ask any question of the person you "borrowed," but strong language and racist comments were not allowed.
What a wonderful idea! I really wish that the UK had gone along with this idea.
Warded to Lindsay Macavoy:
You're a man, my dear brother, so would you mind if I asked you a few things? You know that I'm woefully ignorant when it comes to men.
Warded to Edward Williamson:
I know that I already thanked you yesterday, but I just wanted to get it written down as well. They are lovely.
Warded to Mallory Wagner:
Say the gentleman you're dating sends you flowers -- your favourite! -- and signs it "Love, His Name."
That's just a standard sort of closing, right? I shouldn't look too much into it, right? Tell me I shouldn't so I'll stop obses

| 012. Warded to RLA Faculty/Staff |
[May 12] |
Why was there some strange man in my library? And why is he asking students questions? I've asked to see his visitor's pass, and he's said he doesn't need one. He keeps trying to ask me questions, but I'm not answering questions until I get some answers.
I've made him leave the library, Hermione, but I really think someone ought to check up on him. He's a little peculiar, and asking way too many questions for my taste.

[April 29] |
Mother's not taking Father's death That sounds like I'm
Peter Pan was absolutely lovely. Fiona was very sad to have missed it, but her father wanted her to go to dinner with his parents both nights. I don't buy that a She really wants to play Tinkerbell next year.
Warded Private:
That's three days he's missed morning coffee. I think this is the longest he's gone without morning coffee with me.
I always thought someone who was sitting in a coffee shop with an extra cup, looking around was sadder than someone sitting alone. At least the person sitting alone doesn't have expectations.
